Drinking water can help to keep your skin clear and prevent your skin from drying out and getting too oily. You need to drink at least 8 - 10 glasses or more of water each day.

Balance Your Hormones

To prevent having too much of a sway in your hormones, you need to get your hormones balanced. Taking hormones each month can help with this, such as taking birth control or some other type of hormonal replacement therapy if you are going through menopause. Those who do not menstruate should talk to their doctor about whether balancing hormones can help. 

Exercise

Exercise can be beneficial in several ways to your body, but it can be especially beneficial in your skin. Exercising causes you to sweat and can help clear out your pores from the inside. Sweating is good for the skin, so if you aren't working out at all, start an exercise routine that suits you.
